Many years ago, the company that SoftSearch was initially launched under
(Synergy Computer Consulting, Ltd.), began receiving comments from its clients about the
difficulty they were having finding suitable software products. People were telling us that
they had spent countless hours researching at the library, reading software-related magazines
and still never felt they had all the information they needed to make an informed buying decision.
As a result, in 1990 SoftSearch was born!
Initially SoftSearch offered a phone-in search service via a toll-free number.
Then with the evolution of the Internet, SoftSearch introduced an on-line searchable
database in 1996. The SoftSearch database, containing over 64,000 software products,
has become an indispensable tool for businesses when researching commercial software to meet
their specific needs.
As time went on we began getting more and more requests to help people
purchase software that they could not find anywhere else. Now we are focusing
on making it even easier to find and purchase this software through SoftSearch.
