SoftSearch Announces Partnerships with Industry Associations
Vancouver, B.C. – April 8, 2004 - SoftSearch Inc., the Business Software marketplace, has recently signed agreements with a number of North American associations to operate online software stores for their members. Agreements have been signed with the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, Society of American Florists, Flowers Canada, and the Michigan Nursery & Landscape Association, as well as EngineerSupply.com. The stores will be customized to the manufacturing and horticulture industries and provide members with easy online access to a full range of relevant business specialty software solutions.
“These agreements represent a unique opportunity for their members to find the best software products to solve their specific needs,” said SoftSearch President Kathy Woolverton. “With only 5% of commercial-strength software available in stores, many turn to using generic software or paying for custom software development, both of which are usually unnecessary.”
The products range from basic applications costing only several hundred dollars, to fully integrated, enterprise-wide solutions that utilize complete support from the software vendor. SoftSearch handles the processing of the sale transaction and manages delivery of the software to the customer.
Since 1991, SoftSearch has been providing commercial software information services to businesses across North America. It is now a one-stop information, sales and distribution service, with the world's largest database of business specialty software. SoftSearch helps businesses across many industries find and purchase software, provides software publishers with additional sales channels and increased market reach, and supplies affiliate partners with a valuable, revenue producing member service.
